  *Update* December 6th, 2016: three months and I have still not received the full refund for my cancelled policy. A portion has been sent but a large remainder, approximately $300, has not been refunded. October 28th, 2016: My initial experience with State Farm was rather pleasurable, although, it was with one of the after hours staff that is not employed at this location. I was pleased to learn after going over my information that I would be saving a little money and as a new home owner would also be recieving a great rate on my homeowners insurance. Unfortunately, after signing my policy and being placed at Jon Zwebers office the pleasurable experience ended. I opened a home owners insurance policy at another location and today learned my auto insurance at the Lakeville office was cancelled. This cancellation came as a surprise as I never received any phone call, email, or letter in the mail. Instead I learned from my home owners insurer that my auto had 'issues' that he was uncertain of. After reaching out to Jon Zwebers office I was informed that my insurance had not only been cancelled but it was cancelled nearly two months prior to my home owners agent reaching out to me. Yes, nearly two months without any coverages where I was subjected to unknowingly breaking the law! What would've happened if I would've been in an accident? Pulled over? To add a little humor to the situation I have also not been refunded for the years upfront payment and will have to wait up to two weeks before the funds are returned. This is not an agency I would recommend. The lack of professionalism not only put me in danger of legal ramifications but could've left my loved ones and myself in a horrible situation if an accident would of occurred. It's terrible to see, what I consider to be a great company, represented in such a poor manner.
